The best and the brightest bikini beauties shine through in
SLIMMERS WORLD INTERNATIONAL’S MISS BIKINI PHILIPPINES 2011

Summer temperatures soared as Slimmers World International crowned the most outstanding bikini beauties in this year’s Miss Bikini Philippines at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila in Newport City, Pasay last April 12, 2011.

The leader in Slimming, Health, Fitness and Beauty in Asia, Slimmers World International brought the competition to a higher level on its fourth year. Prizes were bigger. Competition was fiercer. Prestige was greater.Twenty-seven bikini beauties from all over the country converged at the grand theater of Resorts World Manila after months of individual preparation and whirlwind weeks of pre-pageant activities. Finally, from the candidates the winners emerged, shining through. Candidate #11 Angelee Claudett Delos Reyes from Slimmers World Legaspi, was crowned MISS BIKINI PHILIPPINES and won P500, 000 in cash and prizes. Miss Delos Reyes will be representing the Philippines in the Miss Bikini International pageant in China this July.

The first runner-up, Candidate #22 Unique Fadul of Valenzuela, representing Slimmers World Caloocan, took home P200, 000 in cash and prizes. While Candidate #27 Leana Patricia Dominico of Slimmers World Binondo won P150, 000 in cash and prizes as the second runner-up.

Several special prizes were handed out as well to outstanding candidates. The Best in Talent award was given to #5 Charmaine Petiluna, making high marks for natural ability, performance, showmanship and audience rapport. Proving her winning form, #12 Carla Angela Valderrama of Slimmers World Binondo was regarded as Best in Long Gown, winning P20,000 in cash and prizes. She was noted for poise, grace, beauty, projection and presence, among other notable traits. The Best in National Costume 2011 title was awarded to proud Davaoena #10 Riz Lyka Ayuste of Slimmers World Greenhills. Olongapo’s sweetheart Jermaine Joy Barredo, the candidate who garnered the most number of votes during the center tours bagged the Darling of the Clients Award. Kiomi Tuibeo of Marikina representing Slimmers World Pasig was voted by her co-candidates as Miss Congeniality, a solid testament to her becoming everyone’s favorite surrogate sister. Miss Photogenic was awarded to #1 Sarah Jane Mercado from Batangas for her camera-friendly looks and demeanor. The Miss Great Skin award went to the flawless candidate from Davao Del Sur, #13 Jamie Yin-Baker while the Best in Creative Posing was awarded to #17 Maribel Rico of Slimmers World Legaspi.

Each candidate went through strict criteria, with each judge carefully scrutinizing competitors for figure of the body, beauty of the face, personality, audience rapport and the all-important X-factor. The judges were a highly regarded panel with expert eyes and a refined feel for beauty. The panel included Philippine Star columnist and Star Talk host Mr. Butch Francisco, Miss Universe 1999 1st Runner-up and celebrity host Ms. Miriam Quiambao, Bb. Pilipinas International 2010 Ms. Krista Kleiner, GMA7’s entertainment anchor Mr. Nelson Canlas, renowned fashion designers Randy Ortiz and Frederick Peralta, the beautiful and sexy actress of ABS-CBN’s Imortal Ms. Vivian Velez and other luminaries. The panel of judges was spearheaded by Slimmers World International’s Vice President Helen Manansala-Camacho.

The competition began with a hot performance from the renowned Buganda Dancers and was seamlessly facilitated by hosts DJ Slyde Ardiente and Sheryl Crystal. Another highlight of the evening was the romantic serenade by two of the most promising young actors of ABS-CBN, Markki Stroem and Matteo Guidicelli. Audiences were wowed by a surprise a number by one of the top 5 finalists of STAR POWER, K-LA. She was joined by the hottest Biometrics Trainers of Slimmers World International. Appropriately, the evening was capped off with the hottest candidates claiming the titles of Miss Bikini Philippines 2011.
